MADISON, Wis. (WSAU) - Jeremy Wand might find out this week if he can withdraw his guilty pleas from the fatal Argyle fire that killed three of his nephews. Green County Judge Thomas Vale may hear the LaFayette County case’s motions Thursday.
Jeremy Wand is accused of helping his brother Armin Wand III start a fire that killed the three boys and caused serious injuries to Armin’s wife and unborn child.
Jeremy Wand claims he was pressured into accepting the plea deal. Armin Wand’s wife Sharon has recanted her statement implicating the brothers in the fatal arson.
Armin Wand was sentenced to three consecutive life sentences in April.
