HOWARD, WI (WTAQ) - Brown County Sheriff's say a woman is due in court Monday for allegedly shooting her boyfriend to death in Howard.
It happened at the Northern Pines Apartment Complex on the 2000 block of Memorial Drive in Howard around 4:15 a.m. Saturday.
Authorities say 43-year-old Tricia N. Phillips called 911 to report that she was involved in an altercation with her boyfriend, which led to her shooting him with a 9mm handgun.
Officers arrived at the apartment to find 46-year-old David C. Rosenberg dead from a single gunshot wound to the head.
Phillps was booked into the Brown County Jail on charges of second-degree intentional homicide.
Sheriff's would not comment on what led up to the shooting, citing an ongoing investigation. They would not confirm whether this was domestic violence related.
The Wisconsin Crime Lab is assisting investigators with the Brown County Sheriff's Department in this probe.
