MADISON, WI (WTAQ) - A Wisconsin man convicted of stealing more than $20,000 from a veteran nonprofit group finds out how much restitution he will owe.
Timothy D. Russell was a former top associate of Governor Scott Walker when he was Milwaukee County Executive.
Walker appointed him to lead the Heritage Guard Preservation Society, a group which organizes outings for veterans to the Milwaukee County Zoo.
Russell's attorney has said the defense would agree to $22,0000 in restitution.
Russell pleaded guilty in November and was sentenced to spend two years in prison.
