MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ) - A Milwaukee police officer is expected to enter a plea Monday to charges he conducted illegal strip searches.
Officer Michael Vangnini faces 25 charges stemming from eight strip searches and cavity searches, including sexual assault.
Only medical personnel are allowed to perform cavity searches and only after a search warrant is obtained.
Vangnini is expected to plead guilty to charges of misconduct in office and strip search violations.
Trials are scheduled to start in June for three other officers connected to the case.
