The Wisconsin TimberRattlers, the reigning Midwest League Champions, opened the 2013 season with a 5-4, 11 inning victory on the road against the Peoria Chiefs. Michael Reed scored the go ahead run on a throwing error in the top of the 11th. Austin Blaski got the win in relief with two scoreless innings as Wisconsin pounded out 10 hits in the victory. The teams continue the season opening series through the weekend, the 'Rattlers home opener at the newly renovated Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium is Monday night at 6:35 against Cedar Rapids.
