Wisconsin Badger redshirt freshman quarterback Joel Stave will be out of action for an estimated 8 weeks after suffering a broken collarbone in Wisconsin's overtime loss to Michigan State last Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium. Stave was injured early in the third quarter. The best case senario for Stave is that he might be available for a Wisconsin bowl game. Head coach Brett Bielema says Maryland transfer Danny O'Brien, who started early in the season, and Curt Phillips will battle for the starting job at practice for the next week as Wisconsin has it's bye this weekend before returning to Big Ten action at Indiana on November 10.
