NEENAH, WI (WTAQ) - The city of Neenah has been advised by the State Patrol to stop using their leaf collecting trucks because of visual problems for the driver.
State Patrol’s Sgt. Tim McGrath says they could be against state law because of the obstruction.
Two weeks ago, a Neenah city worker injured a pedestrian in a leaf collection truck.
McGrath says the State Patrol actually warned other communities with front end leaf vacuums late last year after a fatal accident in Sheboygan.
Neenah public works has stopped using them.
They are now two to three weeks behind on leaf collection.
