Blaine launched his electric spectacular, in which he wears a chain-mail body suit hooked up to two conductors for 72 hours, on Friday (05Oct12), and comedian Chris Rock was among the onlookers invited to press a button to send currents through his body.
Black Swan moviemaker Aronofsky visited the site of the stunt on Saturday with his son Henry - and he was also given the chance to shock Blaine, according to the New York Post's gossip column Page Six.
A source tells the publication, ""Darren just showed up with his son and used the computer to electrify the hell out of Blaine.""
In a post on his Twitter.com page, the director uploaded a photo of the daredevil and added, ""Go David Blaine what a show.""
Rachel Weisz, Aronofsky's former partner, also visited Pier 54 in Chelsea to see the stunt, as did actress Jemima Kirke.
