Green Bay Packers lose injury-riddled game 30-27 to Colts

INDIANAPOLIS (WTAQ) - The Green Bay Packers were shocked by a spirited Colts team, blowing an 18 point first-half lead, 30-27 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis Sunday.

The Colts were playing for head coach Chuck Pagano, who announced this week he had been diagnosed with leukemia.

During the game, the Packers (2-3) suffered through another poor performance on defense, while losing starters Cedric Benson, B.J. Raji and Jermichael Finley to injury.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers finished 18-of-29 for 196 yards with 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. Rodgers was sacked five times by the Colts (2-2), all coming in the second half.

The Packers drove with a chance to send the game to overtime, but a 51-yard field goal try by kicker Mason Crosby appeared to be tipped and was wide right.

Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, the 1st overall pick in this year's NFL Draft, finished 31-of-55 for 362 yards, 2 touchdowns, 1 interception and a rushing touchdown. Wide receiver Reggie Wayne caught 13 passes for a career-high 212 yards and a TD.
