TOWN OF GREEN VALLEY, WI (WTAQ) - We now know the name of the person killed in a Shawano County crash Thursday.

Authorities say 51-year-old James Simpson of Clintonville was a passenger in a minivan that was struck by an SUV while at the intersection of Highways E and BB.

It happened around 1:30 p.m. in the Town of Green Valley.

Sheriff's officials say an 83-year-old Suring man was behind the wheel of the SUV. He and the 52-year-old Madison man driving the minivan were taken to the hospital. There's no word on their injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
