MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ) - Authorities in Manitowoc say two suspected drug deals were arrested Wednesday.
The Manitowoc County Metro Drug Unit says a 25-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man sold drugs to undercover officers several times.
The pair was picked up on Interstate 43 when they were allegedly on their way to Milwaukee to get heroin to be sold in Manitowoc, according to investigators. The two also had about $2,000 in cash on them at the time of the arrest.
Officers also raided a home on South 31st Street in Manitowoc where the undercover deals took place. They found several items for the use, packaging and distribution of heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana and prescription drugs.
Police also found electronics, clothes and other items they think were stolen and traded for drugs. They also found counterfeit money and fake guns.
Both suspects are due in court in court Thursday afternoon. Investigators say more people could be arrested.
