After a tepid first half, the Marquette Golden Eagles hit better than 71 percent of their shots in the second half to power past the University of Maryland-Baltimore County at the Bradley Center Monday night 79-46. At one point, Marquette hit 10 straight shots in a blistering 37-5 run. The Golden Eagles were led by Jamil Wilson with 15 points. Davante Gardner added 13 as Marquette improves to 5-1 on the season. Up next, the Big East-SEC Challenge game against 7th ranked Florida in Gainsville on Thursday night.
