Green Bay, WI (WSAU) - The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has issued an air quality alert. The Orange Alert issued Sunday cites particle pollution, which means the air quality could be unhealthy for people in sensitive groups. The alert is scheduled to expire at noon Monday. It affects eastern, southeastern, and southcentral Wisconsin from Green Bay to Kenosha County and west into Madison.
The affected counties include Brown, Calumet, Dane, Dodge, Fond du Lac Jefferson, Kenosha, Manitowoc, Milwaukee, Outagamie, Ozaukee, Racine, Rock, Sheboygan, Walworth, Washington and Winnebago.
