PLYMOUTH, Wis. (WHBL) - A Plymouth man has been charged with forgery after attempting to cash a check at a bank with a fake ID.  27 year old Jorge Diaz-Velasco was arrested Monday after pulling into the drive thru of the Community Bank & Trust on Eastern Avenue in Plymouth, attempting to cash a check for $660.00  When the teller asked for identification, Diaz-Velasco provided a fake Wisconsin Photo ID Card with the name of the person that the check was written out to.  After producing ID, he exited the vehicle and fled where he was picked up by officers.  When police ran Diaz-Velasco’s information, they learned he had warrants in Milwaukee County for his arrest.  If convicted, Diaz-Velasco is facing up to 12 years in prison.
