WAUSHARA COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) - A Wisconsin State Patrol squad car is totaled after a single-vehicle crash in Waushara County.

Officials say it happened just after 1 p.m. Saturday on Highway 21 at North Madison Street in the Village of Coloma.

Authorities say the officer was turning around to pursue a speeder when his vehicle hydroplaned and hit a power pole.

The officer was taken to the hospital to be checked out but was released without injuries.
