JANESVILLE, WI (WTAQ) - Janesville authorities have identified the victim in what they are calling a homicide investigation.

46-year-old Traci Moyer was found strangled to death in a home in Janesville Saturday, and her estranged husband, Krystopher R.R. Carlisle, was rushed to Mercy Hospital in critical condition.

Deputy Chief Danny Davis told media Saturday that there is no danger to the public. Police have not named Carlisle as a suspect.
