GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) - Packers Coach Mike McCarthy says wide receiver Greg Jennings may be able to return to the practice field Saturday.
Jennings has been sidelined since he suffered a concussion during the team’s August 3rd Family Night scrimmage at Lambeau Field.
McCarthy says Jennings has progressed through the protocol for returning from head injuries and is thought to be very close to returning.
McCarthy also said linebacker Desmond Bishop had surgery on his right hamstring Friday. The injury suffered in Green Bay’s first preseason game may have ended the standout defender’s season.
