WINNEBAGO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) - Winnebago County Sheriff's are investigating after a 27-year-old man was shot Saturday.
Deputies say the man was on public hunting grounds off of Hillcrest Road in Larsen around 7:15 a.m., when he was struck in the face by a small caliber bullet.
He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officials say three persons of interest are being questioned at this time.
The investigation is still ongoing by the Sheriff's Department and the Department of Natural Resources.
