Major League Baseball owners are meeting in Milwaukee this week amidst reports a new labor deal may be on the horizon.   ESPN is reporting the new contract will include major realignment creating two, 15 team leagues with a second wild card team added to the playoffs.  Interleague play would be continuous throughout the season and major changes will be made with the draft and free agency systems.   The changes are expected to be taken up by the owners once the Milwaukee meetings are adjourned.   Milwaukee Brewers General Manager Doug Melvin met Tuesday with Scott Boras, the agent for free agent first baseman Prince Fielder.  Melvin isn't holding out much hope of re-signing the All-Star slugger saying he has a "gut feeling" that Mat Gamel will man first base next summer.   Melvin also met with the agents for Rafael Furcal and Aaramis Ramierez and plans to meet Astros shortstop Clint Barmes' agent Wednesday.   Melvin also announced Craig Counsel won't be back with the team next year and Mark Kotsay is departing.  After spending last season with the Brewers, Kotsay signed a one year contract with the San Diego Padres.
