(Detroit, MI)  --  A new poll shows that Michigan voters are okay with Governor Rick Snyder's proposal to cut state aid to public schools and universities.  The poll, conducted by the Detroit Free Press, shows that 51 percent of voters support the governor's plan to cut aid to universities by 15 percent and 62 percent back Snyder's proposal to reduce state aid to public K-12 schools by 4.1 percent.  The poll was based on interviews with 600 registered voters.
