LANSING, Mich (WLMI) A new poll shows Snyder is starting his term as governor with high popularity. The EPIC-MRA poll released yesterday shows 59-percent of residents polled have a favorable opinion of him. Nine-percent say they have an unfavorable opinion of Snyder. The poll also asked respondents whether they thought Michigan was headed in the right direction. 39-percent said ‘yes’—41-percent said ‘no’. The Lansing-based polling company interviewed 600-people by phone Thursday through Sunday.
