SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - Fire yesterday caused $15,000 damage to a southside Sheboygan residence and left three families homeless.  The blaze was discovered about 5 o’clock last night when someone spotted smoke coming from the roof of the building at 514 South 14th Street.  Sheboygan firefighters arrived on the scene to find smoke coming from the eaves and attic vents.  Shift Commander Vernon Koch said firefighters had to remove a portion of the roof to get at the blaze.  He said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.  There were no injuries and the Red Cross is assisting the families.
