OSHKOSH, Wis. (WTAQ) - Police in Oshkosh are investigating a rash of garage break-ins on the city's west and south sides.
Authorities say Saturday night and early Sunday morning, garages in the 1200 block of Greenfield Tr., the 800 block of Hennessey, the 1000 block of Reichow Ave. and the 900 block of Huntington Pl. were broken into. A vehicle was stolen from the garage on Greenfield Tr.
It was found that same night at Creekside Dr. and Omro Rd. A witness saw the vehicle in the area of Tammy Dr. and Old Omro Rd. and told police it was being driven by a white boy around 16 or 17-years-old, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
Beside the stolen vehicle, the burglar rummaged through a vehicle in the 900 block of Huntington Pl. but did not take anything. The suspect did, however, take some loose change in the burglary on Hennessey.
