GREEN BAY, Wis. (WTAQ) - A man is arrested and another man is in the hospital following a 3-vehicle crash Wednesday night. It happened at the intersection of West Mason Street and Military Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Green Bay police say a pickup truck slammed into the back of a car that was waiting at a red light on West Mason.

That car then hit another car. One of the drivers suffered life threatening injuries. Meantime the driver of the truck tried to run away, but was caught by an off-duty officer who witnessed the crash. Turns out the pickup was reported stolen from Oconto County.

A portion of the eastbound lanes of West Mason is being shut down for crash reconstruction. Authorities say fog and alcohol don't appear to be factors in the wreck, but fog is hampering the investigation.
