TERRE HAUTE (WIBQ)-A house fire in Terre Haute closes down a section of 7th street.
Emergency responders were called to this home on the city's south-side just before 9 Wednesday morning.
Dispatchers say the initial call was for a small kitchen fire. The blaze quickly escalated, forcing firefighters to shut down the street in front of Regional Hospital.
No one was injured, but firefighters say the home was a total loss. The Red Cross was called to assist the homeowners.
