MADISON, Wis. (WTAQ) - A man shot to death in Madison early Monday has been identified as 27-year-old Lofton Sprouls. Police are still looking for his killer, and investigators say it might have been drug-related. Sprouls was shot once outside his apartment building about 2:30 a.m. He died at a hospital an hour-and-a-half later. Officials say the shooting does not appear to be random, and it happened in a neighborhood where residents have expressed concerns about illegal drug activity.
