ST. PAUL, Minn. (WTAQ) - Prosecutors in Minnesota are considering charges Monday against a man accused of killing his brother from western Wisconsin. 40-year-old Brian Orloske of Houlton was shot to death in St. Paul on Saturday night. Police said it happened at the home of his brother, 38-year-old Eric Orloske. He was arrested at the crime scene on suspicion of murder. No one else was home at the time. St. Paul police sergeant Paul Schnell said the 2 were drinking when they got into an argument. The victim’s fiancée, Destiny Denton, said the two men were planning an annual bike trip. And when she called there on Saturday night, Denton said there were no signs of trouble – and both seemed to be having a good time.

Brian Orloske was a stockbroker, and he played on a high school team in St. Paul that made the state tournament. The 2 brothers also formed a group in 2004 to try and cleanup the St. Croix River on the Wisconsin-Minnesota border. The victim and Denton had 2 young children together. Schnell said Eric Orloske had a clean record except for a drunk driving conviction in 1995.
