TOWN OF HARTLAND, Wis. (WTAQ) - A crash in Shawano County Monday night sends 2 people to the hospital.

It happened at the intersection of Highway 29 and County Highway BE in the Town of Hartland around 7:45 p.m.  Authorities say a man pulled out in front of another vehicle and the two collided in the intersection.

Sheriff's say 86-year-old Paul Schumacher of Green Bay caused the crash and has life-threatening injuries. The other driver, 44-year-old David Gliniecki of Neenah, suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Lt. George Lenzner with the Sheriff's Department says the cause of the crash appears to be inattentive driving. Schumacher will be cited for failure to yield right of way.
