NEW YORK (Reuters) - Minnesota Vikings Pro Bowl wide receiver Percy Harvin rejoined the team Friday after spending the previous night in the hospital.
Harvin collapsed during practice Thursday and was unresponsive for a brief period from a migraine headache.
"Obviously he's much improved today," Vikings head coach Brad Childress told reporters. "I don't think there is any quick fix and I think it's going to be a work in progress.
"Even though you would like to stick it in a box and have it be fixed this way, history has told us that migraines aren't that way."
Harvin, who missed most of the Vikings' training camp because of headaches, watched the team practice from the sidelines Friday morning.
The Vikings travel to San Francisco for a preseason game against the 49ers on Sunday, however, Harvin will not travel with the team, and it is unknown when he will be able to play.
The former first-round draft pick was second among Vikings receivers with 60 receptions and 790 yards in his rookie campaign last season.
