(Bravo, MI - Midwest Communications News) - Allegan County Deputies say alcohol may have been a factor in a violent collision that killed a Pullman man early Sunday morning. They say 48 year old John Meier was riding his motorcycle south in the northbound lane of 56th St. in Clyde Township when he met a car coming in the opposite direction head-on just before 3AM. He was thrown from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he was wearing a helmet that was not safety rated. The driver suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated at Holland Hospital. The incident remains under investigation.
