Milwaukee, WI (WSAU) - Adam Stern scored the game-winning run on a throwing error to push the Brewers over the Tigers, 13-12, in an exhibition game.
The Brewers scored four runs in the ninth inning for the comeback win. Starter Dave Bush lasted five innings and allowed five runs on seven hits. Milwaukee begins regular season play at home on Monday against Colorado.
Five Tigers homered, including Magglio Ordonez and Jeff Larish, whose shot gave Detroit the edge heading into the bottom of the ninth. Robbie Weinhardt blew the save opportunity, surrendering four runs -- two earned -- in the ninth.
