When Comet ISON reaches it's closest point to the sun (on Thanksgiving day!), no one is really sure what will happen. ISON may disintegrate, but it also may survive and become a spectacular sight in the sky in early December.
But no matter what happens, we can all watch it live on the internet. The Bad Astronomer, Phil Plait, will be holding a Live Google Hangout with guest experts and astronomers, that features live video from NASA satellites, and the Kitt Peak Observatory.
