I’ve watched enough “Billy the Exterminator” on A&E to know that raccoons walkin’ around during the daytime is generally not a good thing. If one were to come on my porch, I’d just get Sally Field to chase it off with a broom, but unfortunately it’s not that simple.
Since last Sunday, there is a not-so-little fella that has displayed a fancy for afternoon strolls down my street. He took a jog past the house on Sunday at about 1:00. My wife has spotted him multiple times this week at about the same hour.
He has always traveled down the street, away from my home, so I’m not real concerned that he’s shackin’ up in my yard, but he’s clearly OK with strutting his stuff in my vicinity, so I’m a little anxious about leaving the garage door open while I do yard work, and have developed a tad bit of jumpiness around the bushes.
I don’t want to blow this out of proportion, but is this something that I should contact somebody about? And if so, to whom do I place the call?
