Goodell Will Make an Example of Favre

Scenario #1:

A trench coat only wearing guy walks up to your living room window as you sit comfortably on your couch reading the paper. He taps on the window. You look. He opens his coat and reveals his private fella, hanging there for you to see.

Scenario #2:

A t-shirt only wearing guy sends you a text message with an attached photo. You receive the text as you sit comfortably on your couch reading the paper. You open the text to reveal his private fella, hanging there for you to see.

Scenario #1 is disgusting and desperate and criminal. Maybe I’m dumb, but how does scenario #2 differ?

21st Century technologies are very much the Wild West – uncharted, undisciplined, and, in many ways, unregulated. As we struggle to police a wireless world, we are proving ourselves reactionaries at best.  Unfortanuately for #4, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is all about reaction with intent to deter.

If Goodell finds truth in Brett Favre’s alleged texts to Jenn Sterger, the door is open for an all out offensive. I believe Goodell will burst through that door and come down hard on one of the biggest stars in the world’s biggest game. What better way for him to announce his presence with authority to the Facebookers and the Tweeters and the texters who collect a check from the National Football League?

Should have worn a belt on those Wranglers, Brett...allegedly.

I'm comfortable with my "Dangler(s)"
