It's been a painful week for the Pack.  Charles Woodson broke his collarbone in St. Louis, several other players have come up lame this week at practice and now Greg Jennings has decided to have surgery next week to repair a tear up high in his groin that has virtually sidelined him all season.   The out-patient procedure will take place next Tuesday in Philadelphia, where Jennings sought a second opinion on his injury that has been extremely slow to heal.  Both Greg and Mike McCarthy are hopeful it will not be a season ending operation.  On the link below, you'll hear Greg's comments to reporters in the locker room this afternoon on how he came to his decision and the prognosis for recovery.

Come Sunday against Jacksonville, the Pack's wide receiver corps may look like this, James Jones, Randall Cobb, Donald Driver and Jarrett Boykin.  Jordy Nelson hasn't practiced Wednesday or Thursday and McCarthy indicated after Thursday's practice they'll test him on Friday, possibly Saturday before ruling him out with a pulled hamstring.  Other players who missed practice Thursday include John Kuhn with a hamstring, Sam Shields with his ankle and shin, Nick Perry with a knee injury and James Starks came down ill.   With 13 names on the injury report in all, McCarthy has had to cut short workouts both days.  He said the game plan for Jacksonville has not been reduced because of the low numbers of healthy bodies and they'll have 46 to dress at Lambeau on Sunday.  The team is hoping to get through the next two weekends at Lambeau without any more stress on the roster as the bye week arrives November 11.   On the positive side, B.J. Raji looked like his old self according to McCarthy after missing two weeks with an ankle sprain.  Misery loves company for the Jaguars are also a depleted team, having lost both starting outside linebackers for the year in the pre-season and their best player, Maurice Jones-Drew is out several weeks after sufering a foot injury against the Raiders last week.  More on the matchup for the Pack's return to Lambeau tomorrow.
