The Milwaukee Brewers delivered a lot of joy to baseball fans in Wisconsin this year, winning a club record 96 games, 57 at Miller Park in front of more than three million fans and they captured their first National League Central Division title and ousted the Arizona Diamondbacks in the National League Division Series in a five game thriller.  Bidding for their first world series berth since 1982, they were eliminated by the team that denied them the championship 29 years ago, the St. Louis Cardinals who battered Milwaukee pitching in a 12-6 rout at Miller Park Sunday night to claim their 18th National League pennant in 6 games.  Here's a recap of the game with a host of post-game quotes from the Brewers.
