Marshawn Lynch is leaving Buffalo and heading west, but his trip will take him right over Green Bay for Seattle. The Seahawks acquired the Buffalo Bills former number one pick Tuesday for a 4th round draft choice next year and a conditional pick in 2012. Packers general manager Ted Thompson was reportedly interested in Lynch but not at that price. I know Packers fans are up in arms over the state of the running game without Ryan Grant and it appears Thompson will stand pat with a Brandon Jackson-John Kuhn tandem. The Packers have averaged 94.5 yards a game on the ground and have won three of four games. The Saints are 3-1, they've lost Reggie Bush and average a meager 73 yards a game. The Bears are 3-1 and average 68.8 yards a game. In the AFC, two of the contenders, Indianapolis and Baltimore, average 7.5 and 84.3 yards a game. Last Sunday, the Packers proved they can run the ball when the absolutey have to. The numbers of the other teams show you can win without big stat backs like Chris Johnson and Arian Foster.
