So as a parent you always hope the best for your children.  When they are athletes you just hope they are good enough, maybe, to get a scholarship at a University to play their respective sport.  As you will hear in this interview with Mr. Jeff Downes, he and his wife are living that right now.  They have two sons and a daughter.  Their two sons are disabled, which allow them to play wheelchair basketball.  One of their sons you already have been introduced to, Brendan Downes and their youngest son Connor Downes who we will track down once the basketball season starts.  First we are going to hear from Mr. Downes about what it's like to be a dad of disabled kids and then how proud he is of them and what impact that made on what he does now.  This is the first part of my interview with Mr. Jeff Downes, Dad, trophy guy and USA Women's wheelchair basketball Team Leader.  We will hear about being the Team Leader in the part two of the interview.  So till then, here's Daddy Downes.
